Pat Gallagher's Blog

As I was arriving on the beach the other day, I was struck by this awesome site. I stood there looking at this breathtaking site which I wanted to draw. The day before, I came to the beach loaded down with drawing material, it was just too hot to sketch.   The following day, of course I did not have my paints or a sketchbook with me. So I had to satisfy myself with a Iphone photo to sketch and paint later. This is the end result of that moment. It is almost finished and it will be in my one woman show 65 for 65 in November.
