Blogging is easy .....DO NOT BELIEVE THIS....! Did I think I was going to be Amy Adams in Julia & Julia??????
Well, here goes. I wanted to tell a story about my Art Project..."65 for 65” (I will explain as we go). This should be easy. Right? Not really. Do I blog or do I start a website? Which comes first... the chicken or the egg? That is still an age old question. So I figure I will start with a blog. But really should I have a site? I don't know. I ask ten people and I get ten different answers. I ask the question? Have you ever done a blog? Oh yes, it is easy. Not in my world.
I am pretty tech savvy. There, I said it. I have worked on computers, websites, computer labs, taught computer graphics, and taken computers apart, but I am having one heck of a time trying to figure this whole thing out. There are more sites to figure out how to do a site than my mind can hold. It should be EASY. That is what everyone says, but it is not. So I start to research blogging, but I just get more blogged down. Then I realize that I want to show my artwork. Again... Website or Blog? Now I want to do a website. This should be easier, friendlier territory. Again, too many questions. My brain is starting to explode. I feel helpless. I want a blog (work to do), a website (work to do), a link to facebook (more work), should I tweet? How about instagram, e-commerce/paypal? What is tumbler? Linkdin? A newsletter (more work).....so a simple project has turned into a megamonster!
